Tai Po Market MTR (9:30AM @ exit A1) > Bride's Pool > Ma Tau Fung > Wang Leng > Tai Tung > Luk Wu Tong > Cheung Pai Tung > Pak Sha Tau > Tai Mei Tuk


This Sunday, April 9, the trampers are going to have a 2-boot but long walk at the Plover Cove Country Park.

We will meet at 9:30am outside the turnstile of exit A at Tai Po Market MTR Station.  From the MTR Station, we will go to take bus no. 275R to Bride's Pool to commence our walk.  Over there we will take a country trail from Chung Mei to Wu Kau Tang and start the climb up to Ma Tau Fung where is almost the highest point of this walk.  We will follow the parth along the ridge and passing through Wang Leng, Tai Tung, then to Luk Wu Tung where we could enjoy a beautiful view of the reservoir.  Starting to descend to Cheung Pai Tung and Pak Sha Tau, we will end this long walk via some small hills, up and down until reachig the main dam at Tai Mei Tuk.  Please bring a torch in case of getting dark at the end of this walk.

Bushwhacking and good balancing skill will be required.  Please show up in full gears withat least 1.5 litres of water, lunch, snacks, rain wear, wind breaker, a torch, sun block, gloves and mos-spray(but no cigarette).  If it is raining hard or thunderstorms are threatening, the walk may be cancelled.  If in doubt, call the trampers hotline 8209-0517 in the morning.
